This Privacy Policy explains how Parqo ("Parqo", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Parqo mobile application (the "App"). Parqo is a parcel‑tracking app that lets you follow shipments from many carriers in one place. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you add a shipment, you give us the tracking number and any label or note you choose to attach to it. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email or phone number to use the App.
Information collected automatically.To run the service we process a randomly generated app identifier, your device's push notification token, app version, device model and operating system version, and basic diagnostic and usage data (for example, crashes and feature usage).
Camera. If you use barcode or QR scanning, the App accesses your camera to read the code on your device. The camera feed is processed on your device to extract a tracking number; we do not store photos or video.
App Tracking Transparency.On first launch we may ask, through Apple's standard prompt, for permission to track. If you decline, the App still works fully.
How we use information
- To retrieve and display tracking status, checkpoints and estimated delivery for the shipments you add;
- To send push notifications when a shipment's status changes;
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the App;
- To manage premium subscriptions and prevent fraud and abuse;
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers that help us run the App, only as needed to provide the service:
- Carrier tracking provider (17TRACK): tracking numbers are sent to our tracking data partner to retrieve carrier status information.
- Google Firebase: for cloud storage, backend functions and push‑notification delivery.
- RevenueCat & Apple: to process and validate in‑app subscription purchases.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the public.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we use your device's push token to alert you about shipment updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Data retention
We keep shipment data for as long as it remains in your App so we can show its history. When you delete a shipment, or stop using the App, the associated data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period.
Your choices and rights
You can delete any shipment in the App at any time, disable notifications and camera access in your device settings, and request deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your information.
Data security
We use industry‑standard safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country, including by the service providers listed above. We take steps to ensure your information is protected wherever it is processed.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
